Gemini Ink’s Writers in Communities program and the San Antonio River Foundation are hosting a free creative writing workshop for 4th-8th graders at Confluence Park. In this workshop, students will explore, celebrate, and reflect on the San Antonio River and its role in the community, producing a handmade zine comprised of their own original poems and short stories under the guidance of local writers such as poets Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson and Carol Gonzales.
